First Presbyterian enthusiastically supports a wide range of mission work, both locally and abroad. On a given week, we might be preparing meals for our local soup kitchen, collecting items for Hope Station's shelter and food pantry, packing weekend food for CHEW ministry, cleaning up after a hurricane, providing tutoring in a Wilson County elementary school or supplying supplemental food to hungry families. There are opportunities to give and opportunities to serve, to get one's hands dirty and one's heart shaped.
